I love my hometown. In five days, I will officially not have a home here anymore but this place will always be home. This place, like most places, is changing. There are more people, signs of gentrification everywhere, Seattle people trying to show how “Seattle” they are, and proof everywhere that this place is a “place to be.” I would move back here for the right situation but for now, it’s warmer pastures. People are bundling up and withdrawing to their cozy confines for the next 6 or 7 months. I’m gonna go home tomorrow and sit outside and have a beer. It ain’t a bad life when you can say that most of your livin’ has been done in Seattle or Hawaii.
