This is the third and final single from this album and was released posthumously after Lennon was gunned down in front of his apartment building in December of 1980. The album was recorded after Lennon had taken an extended absence of about five years following the birth of his son, Sean.

The film footage and still photos in this well made clip show the wide range of faces and phases in Lennon’s life. I see an artist, band mate, activist, husband, father, icon, fashion statement, Buddhist, new world, independent minded creator of music, poetry, and peace unlike any that has come before or after him.

John Winston Ono Lennon’s contributions to the popular culture of his generation and many more to come are almost unrivaled.

People say I’m lazy dreaming my life away
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me
When I tell them that I’m doing fine watching shadows on the wall
Don’t you miss the big time boy you’re no longer on the ball
